Yesterday I rode my motorbike on top of the clouds.......

I crossed the Death Hill (cerro de la muerte) and it was the most spectacular ride I could imagine....you climb and climb until the clouds are all over you …..and more, the view is fantastic, gorgeous and the road incredible twisted.

The name of the place is not coming from the accidents (as I thought originally ) but from those who died of cold in the past while trying to cross the hill. The temperature drops to around 5 to 8 Celsius and is foggy to the extreme that you barely see the front of the road.

Never ever you have to cross this at night or with rain (or combination of both) !!!!!, I was lucky with the rain and left early San Jose (that's my merit...).

After passing the hill the temperature increased to a very comfortable point and rode all besides a river full of vegetation, and also very nice roads …........Finally, while approaching the border with Panama, palm trees appeared everywhere and the scenery become more tropical. There as no rain and the storm was in front of me all the time..it was like I was chasing it, but lucky enough only saw the roads wet aching the border.

The crossing was fairly simple at Puerto Canoas, not even close to the rest of Central America. I stopped at a small place called David that's 450 Km from Panama city. The bike worked perfect after the service and tonight I'll arrive to Panama city where the third stage of this journey will start after shipping the bike on tuesday.

Hope you guys enjoy the pics and the references.........
