The "Ticos"....

I spent the day yesterday in San Jose de Costa Rica with the service of the bike and resting..the dealers (Bavarian Motors) did the 20 K Km service plus additional checking and change of tires , the bike is ready to go to Panama and I'm leaving soon.

Costa Rica is a fantastic place, friendly people and very organized, they call themselves “Ticos” (is accepted and not offensive). The city is surronded by mountains and construction is all over the sides of those mountains

No doubts the Ticos are doing a good job managing his country; you can see construction everywhere ad the contrast with their neighbors of Central America is huge. Something that is interesting is the friendship among China and Costa Rica.....yes, I found that China donate (free of charge ...yes ) the national soccer stadium ….look

the interesting thing is that construction is done with all Chinese stuff, even the workers are Chinese !!!!! …...additional support from China was motorbikes and cars for the police (Chinese brand of course), this is just another sign of the growth of China in Central America, you won't believe the amount of motorbikes build in china that you can find around...they dominate the market together with japan motorbikes (built in China) with no doubts.

As I told you people is very friendly and the dealer here let me in the shop while repairing my bike...something not common at all …..

I wanted to learn some of the details and it was very interesting to lsee that I brought the wrong oil kit as spare part I'm glad I didn't try to change it myself in Tapachula as planned , after finished we all got together for the picture ...thanks Guys !!!!!!!

I'll be leaving to Panama through what's call the Cerro de la muerte (Hill of death) , not sure where the name came from and in this case ignorance is bless ….I'll do some research after crossing it...jut in case.

The plan is to cross the border with Panama today and sleep at David or Santiago (around 600 km from Panama city) depending on how long it takes

Cheers
