The kids of Guatemala

Let me introduce you the kids of Guatemala and the target of the fund raise

I'll explain tomorrow the details of border crossing and other stuff. Today I want to share the experience of meeting some of the kids of Guatemala. The fund raise is for them and you want to know why they need the money and where is going to be used. I asked a biker friend (amazing the mount of people you find traveling....) where I can take some pictures and talk with some kids, he suggest me going to an school and that's what we did.

We went to Coatepeque and drove through tiny roads to arrive to the school “Canton los encuentros” I asked the teacher permission to take some pictures and gave them some stuff (pencil and stickers with the Canadian flag I brought with me).

The kids wanted to see the bike and ask me where I was coming from...where I'm going , how fast....and of course they want to ride it. I just let them sit on the bike as the are was irregular and I did not want to risk any accident.

I explained the the fund raise will be targeting Guatemala and the teachers were very interested and helpful. The kids, like all kids in the world, were curious, noisy, interested, and surprised that a motorbiked landed in the backyard of the school.

I understood much better why the money is needed;You can see pictures in the pic section, tomorrow I'll complete the details about Guatemala and the places I visited, today the focus are the kids.
