Peru the challenge.....!!

No doubt that Peru is one of the most challenging Countries to cross, a complete desert with small towns and only few important cities. It forces you to be careful in the planing of the ride as you can't find places to sleep  and the time between different towns are difficult to estimate.

The scenery is impacting...sometimes I thought it was like those mars pictures with red rocks and nothing else....then the sea appears and all the fog makes the light dissipater, remind me my days in my home town besides the sea during winter,

The small towns are a conglomerate of small houses with colorful mototaxi running around.

The mountains sometimes stop the fog coming from the sea and looks like they have this “smog scarf” around them at the top like this old glacier

Beautiful and scary I you feel vulnerable in front of such immensity. Today I want to cross Lima quickly (there is bad press about the place ) and reach Ika to start looking into the border with Chile in a couple of days.

".....Do not use any maps.......do not plan.......the only important thing is to travel light, then, just ride, ride down south, Argentina is at the end of the continent, there is no way you'll miss it....."
