I made it to Mexico !!

 

The internet is not working well and I can´t use my computer, no pics today ....first thanks to Ramon and Alberto (not THAT Alberto) from the Hotel  that help me to keep my bike safe!!!

After Phoenix I head to Tucson and change oil and filter in the BMW dealer (next is tapachula but no delaer there, so it´s my turn).

Juan was rigth again: carefull when askindg directions, people usually gives you mislead info (just because they don´t know and they try to help):

1. First advise : no worries, stay in Nogales USA and go to the border 3 am, there is nobody at that time and then you can go fresh and fast.....nobody for sure, they open at 6 AM
2. second : from Nogales to Hermosillo...170 km, two hours, real stuff  300 Km  

I decide to go to the border and cross, I did the paperwork without problems, only funny thing is that after crossing a dog that looks belong to the Mexican police chase my bike (and me on top) under the close supervision of their masters without anybody moving a muscle to stop the canine that was ready to taste my leg (glad I have the rabies)

No worries I made it  to Hermosillo and I´m ready tomorrow to go up to Culiacan (416 miles already loaded in the gps). I hope having a better conection tomorrow to put some pics.
