Friends and obelisco.......
My bike and the obelisco was the pic I had on my mind the first day....and I have it now...
I left Santiago with a couple of additional pounds on me, and spent the night in Rosario with another cousin and his girlfriend. The trip has become cheaper as I'm eating for free the last days....I do not believe my parents will charge me either.....
I saw the signs of Siderca from the road.
When I reached the entrance I meet Maria and Horacio that were waiting for me together with Damian Mengual. Maria and my son (Facundo) has been my logistic support and the ones following me and ready to act in case I had a problem.....we took some pics inside of Siderca where I meet old maintenance friends from my first days.
I did a small tour in Campana to visit friends and say Hi and head to the country where Horacio and Alfredo Lemos prepared some foods and drinks......the entrance to the country ( a private condominium) remind me the more complicated customs crossings in Central America....I'm not sure if it was my weird appearance (helmet, tires, etc...) or Horacio that didn't pay his fees …..but the guards were reluctant to let me in, …...finally common sense prevailed and I crossed, enjoying the reception and the warm welcome of my friends and their wifes.
With some energy recovered I headed to Buenos Aires to capture the obelisco scene and kept driving south. My ride to Necochea, where my parents live, was gorgeous and the pampas looked beautiful,.
Close to Balcarce I said bye to the sun and drove at night for the second time in all the trip (first was in Costa Rica and by mistake), no problems at all.....I know the road and there is no animals on the loose….
The trip is almost finished..........
